FOR ALUMNI
Who are the Alumni of the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College?
The organization’s formal mission is to connect alumni of the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College for the purposes of sustaining meaningful cross-generational community among organization members and supporting the current Kuumba Singers in their fulfillment of Kuumba’s mission to celebrate the creativity and spirituality of Black culture.
Informally, this means you’ll soon be able to participate in regional gatherings of Kuumba alums in cities across the country; join us for special events in Cambridge timed around Kuumba concerts; connect with undergraduates as mentors; and more.
While Kuumba Alumni are a vibrant community of Harvard and non-Harvard affiliates, we are also an official “Shared Interest Group (SIG)” affiliated with the Harvard Alumni Association. For more information, click here.
For more information about getting involved, please reach out to the Kuumba Alumni Executive Committee at kuumbaalumni@gmail.com.
